Biography

I went to school at the University at Buffalo and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Public Policy/Urban Planning. I currently work at the Lower CT River Valley Council of Governments as a planner and as a server at the Blue Hound Cookery, both located in Essex. I have always enjoyed drawing but got into spray painting about 4 months ago as a hobby. I feel that spray paint art is often associated with vandalism and portrayed in a negative light, so I decided that I wanted to show the more beautiful aspect of this type of art. In my paintings I use Rustoleum spray paint and house hold objects such as sponges, magazine/paper, and pie tins for planet stencils. I do not use any brushes for, in my opinion, it takes away from the authenticity of spray painting. I mostly do space orientated paintings because the universe is infinite and therefor my imagination and inspiration is also.
